Hidden Forest Capital is headquartered in Florida. Our name comes from the expansive forests of southern oak and pine trees that mingle with sabal palms and seagulls throughout the Southeast United States.
We believe in the long-term growth of Florida and the greater Southeast. Our firm was established to build essential businesses at scale that serve these growing and diverse communities.
We have a long history as investors and operators and are excited to engage with new potential partners.
Senior Leadership
Jeff Butler
Jeff is the Founder and Managing Partner of Hidden Forest Capital, where he is responsible for all investments and focuses on environmental and essential service businesses.
Jeff is the Chief Investment Officer of Osiris Global Investors, an alternative asset management firm. He previously spent spent 7 years at Viking Global Investors where he was responsible for over $3bn of public and private investments, and managed a team with coverage of sectors within natural resources, consumer, and technology.
Prior to Viking, Jeff was an investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he focused on renewables, power, and energy.
Jeff graduated from Dartmouth College and was raised in Dover, Florida.
